Welcome to Cans for Cures
Welcome to the new website for the Cans for Cures project. The concept is simple - why throw it away when you can not only help the planet by combining your efforts with others to create funding for medical research?
Cans for Cures came from the inspiration of Mike Gudgus of WorldAglow in Boise, Idaho. Mike started with his R-E-C-Y-C-L-E Project in 2007. The goal at that time was to create the letters in the word "recycle" completely out of recycled cans held together in a frame constructed from recycled steel mesh.
