First batch of recycling drums

Pink recycled 55 gallon drums are almost done! According to Mike Gudgus "we got some of them painted pink and added the Cans for Cures logo. Kids will be painting the drums with amazing art this week. Currently we are looking for drop off locations. If business owners want to help with letting us place a barrel at there store location that would be great."

We currently will have drop off barrels at the following Boise locations:

D.L. Evans Bank on Vista and Overland
The Costume Shop in Garden City
EveryWear in Hyde Park

You can also drop off cans at the Worldaglow office in Garden City.

According to Mike "we are also working on finalizing a few more drop off locations. We have a volunteer that will be picking up cans twice a week currently with more pickups as needed."

If barrels fill up before the pickup day, Boise business's can call Mike at 208.861.2187 for a pickup. Boise citizens can help out by dropping off cans in the donation barrels. The funds created by donations will be going to the Local Boise Alziemers foundation and the Mountain States Tumor Institute at St. Lukes.
